We are a strategic partner of the Silk Road Planning Research Center (SRPRC). SRPRC is China’s leading think tank focused on the Belt and Road Initiative and was established in Beijing in 2016. SRPRC advises Chinese leadership using a combination of policy research and market analysis.
SRPRC is sponsored by the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Mr. Chen Yuan, Vice Chairman of the 12th National Committee of the CPPCC, serves as its Chairman. Shan Li, CEO of SRFC, serves as a Vice Chairman. The Research Center also has a number of co-founders, including China Development Bank, the Silk Road Fund, Tsinghua University, China Finance 40 Forum and the China Association for the Promotion of Development Financing. SRPRC leverages market forces with a number of aims: to promote overseas expansion; to introduce opportunities to Chinese companies; and facilitate the use of Chinese capital to support the overall Belt and Road Initiative.
SRPRC provides guidance and consultation to SRFC. Its goal is to align with SRFC’s mission to identify and create investment opportunities and enable the successful completion of groundbreaking cross-border projects in Belt and Road economies.
